Great beer and food - a winning combination. I have been here three times now and have enjoyed it each and every time. Each time the crowd was different, which I found to be very interesting. Service was good, waitstaff was friendly, and the atmosphere casual with energy.

This is one of my favorite places on campus and I still love it. Nothing fancy, but the crowd is varied and the food (especially burgers and fries!) are good. Good tap list. When I was in college they had an extensive menu of different shots. They probably still go. Good times. Service is always friendly and quick.

This is one of my all time favorite U of M bars, so when we were back in town and on campus for an alumni event it was an obvious place to go. Love the huge beer selection and the appetizers. Stub & Herb's gets packed before football, hockey, and basketball games, so if you aren't in to crowds make sure to come another time to get the full experience.

I love this spot. It's just different. I hate the term old school but it is just that. Basic no frills bar with a fairly different demo. It isn't frequented by just one type, I've been coming up here for about a week and a half every summer to do some work on campus (minus 2020) and the place is always just perfect. Good beer. Great burgers. I love it.

We felt entirely at home sitting at the bar. We even ordered cheese curds since the bartender recommended them over their house cut fries. The bloody Marys are outstanding and made from V8. I will be back on a future visit from Wisconsin.
